Mom wore a coral colored cardigan with big buttons, pockets and 3/4 length sleeves (or maybe she pushed up her sleeves). It was a thick knit with a collar that closed up around the neck. It was the sixties, I would have been 5 or 6. I thought the color was pretty against her skin.
Her lip stick wasn’t a sassy red, but more like that same coral color. When she’d go out, my sister Robin and I would ask her to kiss us so she could leave a lip print on our cheeks.
Painter, singer, seamstress, upholsterer, jewelry maker. I am kind, I am smart, I am important. I'm married with children and dogs. I go to church on Sundays, and a couple of other days during the week. I am a good cook, but I don't really don't like potlucks. 'I Love Lucy' will always be my favorite TV show. The car I drive is almost 50 years old. I work as a dresser for a couple of theater companies in the Bay Area. I enjoy finding the good in others and hope that as I pass through, I can leave a positive impression on those I happen to meet.

Lipstick kisses!! I used to do this with one of my nephews!! He was cheeky at three years old, so he used to turn his cheek after I applied my red lipgloss!
I also remember wanting my dad to “give me a beard”, which meant rubbing his scratchy whiskers on my face…. what the heck?? In the depths of my gray matter, I can’t figure out what I found enjoyable about that!?? Yes, children are funny!! Hehehe!
